Handover is a collaboration tool for clinicians. It allows the secure and confidential storage of patient data that can then be shared with colleagues by invitation. Hosted on the NHS National Network (N3) it provides the highest level of data security and confidentiality. Features of the app include: (1) Working Groups: managing patient information in functional groups such as specialities, subspecialties and locations. (2) Patient Handover: keeping track of which clinicians are responsible for which patient in real-time, allowing users to manage the handover of responsibility electronically (3) Outstanding Actions: ensuring that vital pieces of information and required data are highlighted, allowing groups to keep-track of key pieces of information and outstanding jobs for patients (4) User-group definable forms: allowing groups of clinicians to define and share data in ways that are specific to their own speciality and organisation.
